The V-500 Thermo
King refrigeration unit is a two-piece split evaporator/condenser
designed for fresh and frozen applications on small to medium-sized
trucks. The road use compressor is powered by the vehicle's engine,
while a second optional compressor is powered by an electric motor,
making it possible to use electric standby to drive the unit when
the truck is parked. Models with heating are also available.
